Moose Math is an engaging educational app designed to take kids on a mathematical adventure. It covers a range of skills including counting, addition, subtraction, sorting, and geometry. The app features 5 multi-level activities set in the Moose Juice Store, Puck's Pet Shop, and Lost & Found. By completing these activities, children can earn rewards which they can use to build their own city and decorate buildings. Moose Math introduces a delightful group of characters called The Dust Funnies, who assist in the mastery of math skills.

Moose Math is aligned with the Common Core State Standards for Kindergarten and 1st Grade, ensuring that it covers the necessary curriculum. Parents and teachers can track their child's progress and access additional skill-building activities through the Report Card section of the app.

The app is suitable for children ages 3 to 7 and falls under the curriculum category. It offers 5 interactive math activities:

 <li>Moose Juice: In this activity, children make smoothies while practicing their counting, addition, and subtraction skills.</li>
 <li>Paint Pet: This activity involves matching pets by counting the number of dots.</li>
 <li>Pet Bingo: By solving addition, subtraction, and counting problems, children can achieve BINGO in this engaging game.</li>
 <li>Lost & Found: Children learn about shapes and colors as they sort through different objects.</li>
 <li>Dot to Dot: Help The Dust Funny character find their way home by joining the dots.</li>
</ol>

Moose Math covers a variety of math skills that are outlined by the Common Core State Standards:

<ul>
 <li>Numbers: Children will understand the relationship between numbers and quantities, solve word problems, practice number pattern recognition.</li>
 <li>Counting: Kids will learn to count by 1's, 2's, 5's, and 10's while also mastering counting up to 100.</li>
 <li>Addition & Subtraction: The app covers addition and subtraction by 1's, 2's, 5's, and 10's, as well as adding and subtracting up to 20. Children will also learn to use numbers, dice, and rekenrek racks for these operations.</li>
 <li>Geometry: The app helps children master geometry at the Kindergarten and First Grade levels by teaching them to identify and recognize shapes.</li>
 <li>Measurement: Moose Math introduces children to the concept of length and helps them understand and compare different lengths.</li>
</ul>

The app includes a Report Card section where parents and teachers can monitor their child's progress. It was developed in collaboration with Jennifer DiBrienza, an educator with a PhD in Early Elementary Education from Stanford University and a former NYC public school teacher (K-Grade 2).
